As SOE have dropped the NDA for their upcoming MMO-shooter Planetside 2, the Three MMOsketeers met up over the magical airwaves of the Internet to grill Teppo for more information about it. Also, is making the world’s best meth really such a great super power to have? Probably not.
Speaking of super powers, we have been met with the sad news that City of Heroes – the world’s first superhero MMO – will be closing down. Time to speculate why it’s happening to a game that seemed to at least be doing alright for itself. SOE seem to be up to their old tricks of putting their proverbial feet into their sometimes way too big mouths and banned talking about a game mechanic from the Everquest 2 forums.
There just might be some talk about Guild Wars 2, as that still seem to be a thing. Cue some talk about the original Guild Wars, World vs World-battles and the state of dungeons.
Then we find out how tall Teppo really is. Spoiler: He’s tall.
