The infinite monkey theorem states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type a given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare. We don’t have an infinite amount of monkeys at our disposal (well; at least not yet), but we’d like to think that a small group of relatively educated, worldly and not too linguistically challenged hairless simians speaking into microphones can still do a passable job of creating something equally impressive. Given an infinite amount of time, we might even write something great!
